Export values out of the Australian market are off by $10 to start May, as are local Australian prices (A$10). Sources described the market as a mix of tight supplies, but demand only at lower prices.  Cattle slaughter was just shy of 110,000 head to close last week and kills are running 14% behind 2016 YTD.
