Weekly Export Sales

Soybean export sales for the 2016/17 marketing year increased 33% to 472.7 TMT and were 1% more than the prior 4-week average of 478.7 TMT. New crop sales totaled 6 TMT, down 86% week over week and lifting combined season sales to 396.8 TMT. Combined crop year sales were up 21% from last week and within analyst expectations that ranged from 300 to 650 TMT. 2016/17 export commitments are 104% of the USDA forecast with 15 weeks to go.
