Biodiesel Market

This week provided some relief for the BOHO spread.  Despite falling heating oil prices, which press the spread higher, all momentum fell out of the soybean oil market.  SBO values dropped 150 points or 4.5%, descending from 33.11 to 31.61 cents per pound.  This easily overshadowed HO’s 5½ cent decline to $1.37 per gallon.

Fluctuating feedstock and heating oil prices did not spill over into the RIN market. …
