Malaysian Palm Oil Exports Up 18% Mid-July

Malaysian palm oil exports of 599,414 metric tons are 17.8% more than what was seen over the first 15 days of June and are 7% more than the 561,471 MT shipped over the first 15 days of July 2016. Crude palm oil (CPO) shipments were the driving force behind the turn around in export activity this month.  July exports began slowly, running 2% behind June’s pace by the 10^th of the month.
