Weekly Export Sales

Soybean export sales for the 2016/17 marketing year fell 23% to 233.4 TMT and were 29% less than the prior 4-week average of 326.6 TMT. New crop sales fell 31%, but at 367.5 TMT, outpaced old crop sales, lifting combined season sales to 600.9 MMT. Combined crop year sales were down 28% from last week but were within analyst expectations that ranged from 300 to 1,000 TMT. 2016/17 export commitments are 106% of the USDA forecast with 5 weeks to go….
