Trading was quiet to start the week, fairly typical for a Monday.

Pressure continued to mount in the MBM markets with the weekly porcine average dropping $26 compared to the week prior and the ruminant market falling $17. Export demand has been reported weaker, especially on the ruminant material and sellers competing for buyers has given the leverage to said buyers.
