Trading out of the Australian fat market was sideways this week. Interest remains strong from Singapore for tallow, but slow production and lack of on-spec material is leading buyers in that market to lean more heavily on North American and New Zealand production. New Zealand values were higher, NZ$870 – 885 for 4% BFT with prices likely to move north of NZ$900 by December.
