The protein market was quiet today with no price changes reported. Sellers continue to stress that value of animal proteins relative to soybean meal, but as has been stated ad nauseum, the paradigm has shifted to a market that is only seeing 65 – 70% of the total broiler production seeking animal proteins for feed rations.
