Fat prices out of Australia were steady this week. Values out of the New Zealand market were off by NZ$5 – 10 compared to last week basis lower palm stearin values. Malaysian palm stearin values are off by 6.8% over the last four weeks. Despite the headwinds sellers are seeing from the palm markets, slower holiday production and strong demand from both China and Singapore could give prices a boost in the coming weeks.
