Porcine MBM slid lower today, topping out at $260 out of the Mo. River and Eastern IA/IL markets. Porcine blood was lower as well, topping out at $660 FOB Mo. River. Heavy supplies continue to pressure the porcine market lower. At an average of $252.50, the porcine market is currently at 81% of the price of nearby soybean meal. This should be a buy signal given the tremendous protein value, but the supplies look to keep a lid on the market in the near term.
