Market Activity

Ruminant MBM prices moved higher today on the back of increased usage tied to the still, very good value relative to soybean meal. Ruminant trading was done as high as $285 out of the Illinois market with $280 reported on the top end of the Panhandle and Mo. River markets. Porcine material traded at a high of $350 Mo. River and Eastern IA/IL, down $10 from last week’s high. Carolinas action was up with trading reported at $350 – 370.
