Market Activity

Action on the west coast was it for activity today. BFT traded up a ½ cent at $0.2450 FOB LA/SF and yellow grease was up a ¼ cent from the previous high a $0.2300 FOB SF.

Trading in the Midwest was quiet, but there are early indications that feed fat demand may be picking up due to the strong value of fat for feed rations. At an average of $0.1600 FOB Mo. River, the YG market is currently at 239% of the price of nearby corn.
