Market Activity

The bottom side of the ruminant MBM market was up today, trading at $280 – 310. Illinois action was up as well, $310 – 330 and product into the AL/GA market averaged at $360. Eastern market activity was reported $360 – 365. Porcine traded sideways, topping out at $350 FOB. Strong production and a wide spread to ruminant has slowed the momentum in the porcine market.
