Ruminant MBM prices were up from the previous low of $275 out of the Mo. River with trading done at $280 – 310 today. Porcine trading slipped lower, $265 – 300 FOB Mo. River. Sellers in the ruminant market continue to face headwinds from the cheaper porcine material and with the heavy kills coming in on cattle, it’s doubtful that the current market can hold much longer.
