Action in the ruminant and porcine MBM markets was steady today. Porcine blood meal traded in a wide range out of the Indiana market $700 – 800. Pet grade poultry by meal traded higher out of the Mid South market, $840 – 900. A larger fishing quota in SAM has put some doubt into the longevity of these high prices under the assumption of more fish equals lower fishmeal prices, therefore lower pet grade poultry meal prices.
