Animal Fats – International

Fat trading across much of the globe was sideways this week. ANZ changes were limited to higher prices on Medium Gut Tallow for the AUS domestic market and higher poultry fat prices, AUS$780 – 820 ex works. Pressure may start to mount in the Australian market with more cattle coming in due to dry pasturing conditions as well as typical seasonal increases. New Zealand sellers are expecting an uptick in supply as well.
