Malaysian April Palm Oil Exports down 4.6% from March 

Malaysian palm oil exports of 1,331,564 metric tons are 4.6% less than what was seen during March but 18% more than the 1,125,942 MT shipped over the same period in April 2017. Malaysia had suspended its export tariff on CPO in an effort to reduce domestic inventories, which were on pace to hit all-time highs and remain stubbornly high. The export duty on CPO resumes in May at 5%.
