Market Activity

The market was fairly quiet coming off of the holiday, but negative pressure remains in both the ruminant and porcine MBM markets as well as both blood meal markets. The ruminant market saw action in a wide range, $800 – 1000 FOB Panhandle and Mo. River. It’s reasonable to expect prices to continue to fall over of the $1000 and potentially move below the $800 mark in the coming weeks.
