The market was mostly quiet today to wrap up the week. The risk in the MBM market for lower prices remains present given the strong slaughter numbers for both cattle and hogs to wrap up the week. Porcine MBM saw a $20 drop this week, compared to last week’s average. The fall put prices in line with the cash SBM market in Iowa, finishing this week at $316.
