Market Activity

Trading in the tallow market was limited to formula based tonnage for the second half of August into the chemical market. Chemical demand continues to be strong, which has helped keep the tallow market supported.

Choice white grease prices were flat today out of the Mo. River market. There continues to be pressure on trucks, but sellers could likely fetch a higher price for rail given the current price of BFT in the Chicago market.
