A lack of demand from the Singapore market has weighed on Australian values, both domestic and export. Prices are off by as much as AUS$55 for domestic trading and US$30 for exports. A slowdown in slaughter is likely to stabilize prices in the coming weeks, with less material to sell and tallow reasonably valued versus palm at these levels.
