Late yesterday feather meal prices fell out of the Mid South market, down to $430. Heavy supplies have been reported in a number of markets as all veg diets continue to chip away at the demand variable. Aqua demand alone won’t absorb the extra material and with fertilizer demand in the down period, prices have to adjust lower. As has been stated, the risk in the market for lower prices on feathers remains present.
