There was light action into the AL/GA ruminant MBM market at $285 today, but the bulk of rail shipments continue to trade in the $300 – 305 range. Porcine MBM traded lower out of the Eastern IA/IL market, hitting a bottom of $220 FOB. Hog slaughter was off this week due to the holiday, but did manage to finish the week at an estimated 2.2 million head. Production is forecast to continue at the 2.4 million plus, per week, level and will keep the market well supplied…
