DDGS – Illinois

Corn and soybean meal futures continue to trade in a downward weekly trend.  DDGS pricing is seen edging lower and may decline further if end users look to substitute DDGS for more price competitive products. Ethanol production has fallen by 36,000 barrels per day over the prior two week period, limiting supply.  During this time DDGS production has fallen from 99,959 metric tons per day to 96,535.
