Wet Weather Delays the Organic Harvest

 

Organic corn prices ticked up slightly for Q4, as farmers who need product in late October and early November jumped the gun and paid up near $9.50. Several merchandisers believe once the harvest comes on board, there will be enough product available to keep the balance of Q4 and Q1 near the $9.25 level. Farmers still need to get into the fields and the cold weather is slowing the drainage process.
