While organic corn and soybean prices are slipping ahead of the harvest, despite an increase in the demand for proteins.  Broiler demand year over year for October is now up nearly 11%, while layer numbers have increased 4%. The quarterly average of broilers slaughtered continues to rise reaching the highest levels on record last week.
