Forward contracting of organic corn is picking up, as the harvest in the eastern states moves toward its peak.  Merchandisers are stating that there is heavy activity especially for Q1 and Q2 periods.  Prices for December continue to see downward pressure near $8.75, but with a small carry for Q1. Q2 on the other hand, is experiencing a robust carry of nearly $1. This is more of a function of demand for May and June, as opposed to the cost of carry.
