Ruminant MBM prices were mostly flat today. Trading out of the Mo. River market did tighten to a range of $200 – 240, up $5 from yesterday’s average. Porcine trading was sideways as well. Sellers have pushed for higher prices due to next week’s slaughter interruption, but buyers have not been willing to pay up. Supply is such in the MBM market that sellers passing on steady money could very well lose business to their competition.
