Organic broiler demand continues to be the key  driver of organic corn and soybeans sales. The majority of the organic corn and soybeans grown and imported into the United States are directly used as animal feed. The Jacobsen estimates that the largest consumer are broilers followed by milk cows and then layers.  The organic chicken slaughter by weight continues to remain at elevated levels.
