Market Activity

Two cars of lard traded up to $0.3500 Chicago today. Renderer BFT action was steady, two cars at $0.2700. Outside of the lard and BFT trades, the market was very quiet. Next week looks to be fairly quiet as well in terms of trading as many manage logistics ahead of the holiday.

Tallow, both technical and BFT are strong heading into December. Looking at the relationship to soybean oil the fundamentals would suggest that prices are due for a correction lower…
