There is very little activity reported by merchandisers for organic and non-GMO grains ahead of the New Year. Expectations are that volume will pick up by mid-January. Merchandisers reported that tweets showed that 40 organic dairies in New York got contract termination notices saying that they need to by 100% grass-fed or their contract is over. Organic milk prices were steady for most of 2018 but have recently dipped and rebounded.
