Organic corn spot prices are hovering near the $9 per bushel level (The Jacobsen) mid-west picked up at the farm.  Farmers are beginning to sell some spot bushels but are holding on to most of the organic corn in storage waiting for additional Q3 contracts.  Merchandiser are reporting that there is increased interest for Q3, and some consumers are using the current levels to lock in new crop Q4 prices.
