Yellow grease traded lower into the Gulf market late on Friday. California and PNW action was higher today, driven by strong biodiesel and renewable demand. 

Cattle slaughter closed out last week at an estimated 577,000 head, down 3.19% from the week prior. Slaughter was lower than anticipated due to more winter weather affecting Midwestern logistics. Slaughter is forecast to moved back up to the 600,000 head level this week…
