Organic chicken head slaughter is on the rise as poultry producers are stepping up their production. According to the Chairman of Perdue, production facilities have been increased to include an additional day and multiple shifts each day. Organic chicken weight slaughtered increased in the 3rd week of March rising back up to nearly 9-million pounds.
