FAS Releases Strong February Export Numbers

Trading in the protein market was quiet today to close out the week.

Inedible meatmeal exports were estimated at 77,477 metric tons for February. Exports were down 2 percent from January and up 38 percent from a year ago. Indonesia was again the largest importer of US material, importing 18,716 MT in February. China followed with 16,277 MT and Mexico was the third largest at 14,840 MT.
