This comes as shoppers have reduced the number of visits to the grocery store in the wake of the spread of COVID-19. The trend in searches for online grocery pickup or delivery has surged to a 17-year high and is likely to remain that way for the foreseeable future. The combination of fear and new regulations as supermarkets are generating this demand.
