Distillers Corn Oil Production Continues to Set Multi-Year Lows

A lack of spot supply limited activity and the market, on a whole, was fairly quiet. Much of the focus continues to center on production downtimes on the meat side an indirect increase in rendering output via euthanized hogs and poultry. There may be some limitations, however, on renderable livestock depending on growth stage at euthanization.

Distillers corn oil prices fell yesterday and continue to be at risk for decreases in the near term basis lower soybean oil prices.
