Renewable Diesel – Singapore and US

A Multinational renewable diesel producer scheduled their next catalyst change at their Singapore refinery in the second quarter of 2020 and at their Rotterdam refinery in the fourth quarter of 2020. they will implement a scheduled approximately eleven-week major turnaround at their Porvoo refinery in the second quarter of 2020. The Singapore catalyst change is expected to take approximately four weeks and could limit renewable diesel moving into the west coast of the US during this time.

A US renewable diesel producer released their first quarter earnings.  Their renewable diesel plant continues to be the workhorse in their portfolio of assets. The renewable diesel segment reported a first quarter 2020 operating income of $198 million compared to $49 million in the first quarter of 2019.  The 2019 figure was later adjusted to $121…
