Limited Production Keeping Nearby Market Mostly Steady

Trading was mostly quiet today with a lack of liquidity keeping prices from moving. There is risk for lower prices in the choice white grease market with fat overvalued relative to corn in feed rations, feeders opting for slower gain formulations and a high, relative price to soybean oil, but again a lack of liquidity is keeping prices arrested at last traded levels.

Yellow grease prices moved lower into the Carolinas and into the Gulf market today. Sellers are seeing headwinds on price from some lower priced poultry fats, specifically AL/GA fat at 19 cents…
