The Trend in Organic Layer Flock Size and Production Continues to Rise

 

Organic corn prices are stable and activity is very light. There appears to be enough corn to keep prices hovering near the $7 per bushel picked up at the farm, into the new crop. Organic soybean prices are also stable but there remains of seeing imports of meal and beans arriving in mid-late June. European merchandisers continue to see elevated prices and await the return of Chinese sellers. There was word late in the week of potential offers coming in below 1000-Euro per metric ton.
