Increasing Supply Starting to Weigh on Prices

Choice white grease prices moved lower today with good volume seen out of the Indiana market and Missouri River market at lower prices. Hog slaughter is up 25 percent for the week, relative to a week ago. 

There is risk for lower yellow grease prices around the country as lower corn prices and lower inclusion rates apply downward pressure on the market. Out of the Missouri River market, April finished the month with a relative price to corn of 336 percent, the highest since April of 20187 and…
