As the planting season moves into gear, organic corn farmers appear to have completed approximately 50% of their planting in the mid-west. Prices continue to hover around $7 per bushel in the mid-west and near $340/345 per short ton in South Central Pa. Organic corn prices in the mid-west for the Q4 are hovering near the $7.5/$7.60 regions with few contracts trading.
