MBM Prices Move Lower

Ruminant meat and bone meal prices moved lower into the Eastern and AL/GA markets today. Heavy supply of ruminant MBM out of the Midwest and heavy supplies of porcine in the Midwest and Eastern markets continue to weigh on prices.

Feathermeal traded lower out of the Mid South market and prices were sideways in the Southeast and East. The holiday break has offered some reprieve to sellers, but strong supplies coming out this week may add additional downward pressure to the market.
