May Protein Export Data

Trading was quiet to close out the week with no changes reported. Reports of nearby availability at the lower end of the range continue as producers struggle with balancing production estimates and absenteeism with actual output.

Protein export estimates were released for May. Feathermeal exports at 6,304 MT were up 14 percent compared to April and down 37 percent compared to May of last year. Meat meal exports were down 24 percent compared to April and 34 percent compared to last year at 56,700 MT.
