Organic Soybean Meal Imports Rise Less than Expected

Organic soybean meal imports rose in June, less than the Jacobsen had expected. The volume of organic soybean meal that hit US shores in June increased to 14K metric tons up 40% year over year compared to the same month in 2019. Approximately 40% of the organic soybean meal that was imported into the US in June came from India, and approximately 40% came from Turkey. China has not been active in delivering organic soybeans into the United States in several years, likely due to trade relations between the US and China.
