Trading in the protein market was quiet with few changes reported. There are reports of increased demand for bloodmeal and feathermeal, but strong supplies have thus far kept prices from increasing. Pet grade poultry by meal prices were reported lower out of the Mid South and Southeast markets this week. Strong supply mixed with reduced pet food demand has weighed on the spot market in the near term.
