DCO Production Increases

Distillers corn oil trading was higher today with strong demand continuing from the biofuels and feed sectors. The EIA estimated ethanol production at 923,000 barrels per day for the week ending October 2nd. Distillers corn oil production is estimated at 8.76 million pounds per day, up 4.8 percent from the week prior and down 3.7 percent from year ago levels.
