Non-GMO corn prices remain steady, with premiums widening slightly due to the rising price of conventional corn. Non-GMO soybean prices are also steady, and despite robust demand for both non-GMO meal and conventional meal the premium for both non-GMO soybeans and non-GMO soybean meal remain stable. Non-GMO soybean premiums to the local cash price have remained steady hovering near the 1.40 level according to Merchandiers. Non-GMO soybean meal is trading near 120 per short ton over conventional.
There also seems to be a divergence in non-GMO soybean and soybean meal prices on the east coast (East of the Mississippi) and the West coast.
