Exporters are experiencing day to day general rate increases. During the past 3-days, Jacobsen has heard shipping rates from Nhava Sheva to Baltimore as high as $150 per metric ton to as low as $120 per metric ton. Additionally, prices for Q1 are buoyed. The Jacobsen has heard prices near $630 per metric ton, as low as $610 per metric ton, and as high at $670 per metric ton. Q1 organic soybean meal is offered in Baltimore at $735 per short ton for November and December and rising to $750 per short ton for the Q1. Mid-west organic soybean meal that is domestically grown is offered near $745 per short ton in Michigan and as high as $820 per short ton in Wisconsin.
