Harvest Nears Completion for Corn and Beans

 

Crop Progress  – 12.2 Billion Bushels of Corn & 3.8 Billion Bushels of Soybeans Harvested

Corn:

  • 82 percent harvested

The corn harvest is 82 percent complete, up 10 points from last week and 13 points over the historical norm. Of the expected harvest, 12.2 billion bushels have been gathered with 2.7 billion bushels remaining. Eleven out of 18 reporting states are ahead of their historical harvest pace.  The Dakota’s, Colorado, Iowa and Nebraska all are at least 23 points over average.  Ohio is the largest producer furthest behind, trailing their average harvest pace by 24 points.
